Airplane! (1980)
This disaster movie parody is packed with silly jokes, sight gags and wordplay. Leslie Nielsen steals the show with his legendary deadpan, including the famous line: 'Surely you can't be serious.' 'I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.' An absurd classic that never loses its comic power.
Monty Python's Life of Brian (1979)
A satirical take on biblical epics: Brian is born on the same day as Jesus, next door, and is mistaken for the messiah. Monty Python's British absurdity at its best: sharp, irreverent and brilliantly funny.

Some Like It Hot (1959)
Two musicians (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon) disguise themselves as women to escape gangsters and get caught up in a madcap mix-up with Marilyn Monroe. This timeless screwball comedy is still praised for its timing and mischievous charm. 'Well, nobody's perfect.'
Such a legendary movie imo.
Blazing Saddles (1974)
Mel Brooks skewers the western with a film that's absurd, crude and socially critical all at once. From beans around the campfire to racial satire, it dared to be far ahead of its time, and it's still hilarious.

This Is Spinal Tap (1984)
A mockumentary about a fictional British rock band, full of dry one-liners and awkward situations. It laid the foundation for the genre and is still beloved by music fans and comedians. These go to eleven.

The Naked Gun (1988)
Lieutenant Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) stumbles from one idiotic situation into the next. The film is packed with physical humor, puns and over-the-top nonsense. Pure slapstick at its best.
