All 7 Ice Age Movies in Order

The film where it all began. In an icy prehistoric landscape, mammoth Manny, sloth Sid and saber-toothed tiger Diego meet. Together they try to return a human baby to his tribe. Friendship, adventure and Scrat's eternal quest for his acorn give it timeless charm.

The thaw is setting in, and the animals have to flee an impending flood. New characters like Ellie, Crash and Eddie join the group, while Manny is confronted with his own past.

Sid wants a family of his own and accidentally adopts three dinosaur eggs. When their mother shows up, the group ends up in a secret underground world full of dinosaurs, and meets the crazy one-eyed adventurer Buck.

Scrat causes the continents to break apart, sending Manny, Diego and Sid on a sea voyage full of pirates and danger. Meanwhile, Manny tries to protect his teenage daughter Peaches from the perils of growing up.

Scrat's bizarre space antics set off a chain reaction that sends a meteor hurtling toward Earth. The group teams up with the eccentric Buck to find a way to prevent the impact.

The first true spin-off film. Rowdy possum brothers Crash and Eddie seek their independence but end up in the dinosaur world again, where Buck enlists their help to stop a tyrannical dinosaur. Light-hearted and aimed at younger viewers.

A sixth main film has been officially announced, with the return of original voice actors Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary and Queen Latifah. The plot is still under wraps, but it promises to be a big return for the classic Ice Age family.
