Top 10 Superhero Movies to Look Out For in 2026 and 2027

The third DCU film is a bold choice: an R-rated body horror about a Batman villain. Tom Rhys Harries plays Matt Hagen, an up-and-coming actor whose face is disfigured by a Gotham gangster. He turns to a controversial scientist (Naomi Ackie), whose experimental treatment transforms him into a creature of living clay. After the cliffhanger of Across the Spider-Verse, fans have been waiting for years for the showdown between Miles Morales and his Prowler variant from Earth-42. Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld return as Miles and Gwen. The film promises to once again push the boundaries of animation. The film was repeatedly delayed due to strikes and production challenges. The current release date is June 2027, four years after Across the Spider-Verse.

Robert Pattinson returns as the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves' highly anticipated sequel. The film builds on The Batman (2022) and the HBO series The Penguin. Twenty years after the original film, Keanu Reeves returns as the chain-smoking exorcist John Constantine. Francis Lawrence returns as director.
