Fans pointed out supposed hints in lyrics and album art, such as the symbolism on the cover of “Abbey Road” and backwards messages in songs like “Revolution 9” . This theory has been debunked several times. Paul McCartney is alive and well and has responded to the rumor himself.

The '27 Club' is a curse
Many famous musicians, including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse, have died at the age of 27. This led to the belief that there is a '27 Club' and that there is a curse on musicians of that age. While it is true that these artists died at the age of 27, there is no evidence of a curse. Statistically, there is no significant peak in musician deaths at that age. It's more of a tragic coincidence.
