Diaz voices Princess Fiona, beautiful by day and an ogre by night. It's a fairy tale that deconstructs fairy tales, and Fiona is no damsel in distress: she can save herself, thank you very much. Curtis Hanson directs a film about sisterhood, jealousy and reconciliation. Diaz plays against type: Maggie is dyslexic and insecure beneath the makeup. Shirley MacLaine plays their grandmother.
